Parachute & Cozy Earth: Best Black Friday Bedding Sale Picks

Aside from investing in a quality mattress, buying good bedding is probably the second-best decision I have made for my space. I truly believe that when a brand uses high-quality textiles, you can feel the difference. Since I moved into my apartment, Parachute and Cozy Earth are the two brands I’ve been living in. Luckily both brands are offering sweet discounts this month, so there is no better time to purchase! I’ll share a quick ‘Parachute vs Cozy Earth’ comparison review, along with my top sales picks!

Parachute vs Cozy Earth: Bedding Brand Comparison

If you are deciding between Parachute and Cozy Earth, I consider both brands to be on the more elevated side. Their biggest differences come down to: fabric, color scheme, and products.

Fabric: Cozy Earth is known for their bamboo-based fabrics. Their signature bedding materials are bamboo, and bamboo-linen which have a silky-soft, cooling feel. More recently, Cozy Earth has added a few silk and cashmere pieces too. Meanwhile, Parachute offers a variety of natural fiber options like linen, cotton. They have incorporate a variety of fabric constructions (e.g. percale, sateen).

Both brands are OEKO-Tex certified, meaning that fabrics have gone through a rigorous standard for hazardous substance screening. I’ve slept in both brands and they are both high-quality!

Color Scheme: Cozy Earth leans a lot more towards lighter neutrals and cooler tones (e.g. grey, shades of blue/white, and beige), while Parachute has a variety of earthy tones, both cool and warm. My favorite of theirs is Clay, which feels like a muted pink. Even so, both brands have a color palette that works for all genders and I am glad they have expanded into new offerings every year.

Products: Both brands offer bedding, loungewear/pajamas, and bathroom linens. However, I find that Cozy Earth has a better assortment in pajamas and loungewear. On the other hand, Parachute carries furniture and kitchenware, which Cozy Earth does not.

Parachute vs Cozy Earth: Gift Guide Sale Picks

Best of Parachute Home Sale: Favorite Picks

Parachute Home makes such a lovely gift to self, or for someone else. I love their linen pajamas set and cloud cotton robe (styled below), and the quality has held up in the wash.

  • Linen Pajamas: Gets softer with each wear, and can be worn year-round! Fit is true to size, and I am wearing XS.
  • Cloud Cotton Robe: Soft and plush, makes a lovely gift. Made with 100% Turkish cotton and 4-ply gauze, which enhances softness and quality. I am wearing XS.
  • Cotton Ribbed Throw: This is one of my first purchases from the brand. Warm, good-quality, and makes a great housewarming gift under $100!

Parachute repeats many of their core fabrics (e.g. Cloud Cotton, Cloud Cotton, Turkish Cotton), which you can find their full guide HERE. Below, you will find some of my favorite materials repeated in a few other products.

Cloud Cotton Bedding

I have read reviews stating that the duvet cover set snags easily, so I’ve avoided linking that product. The ones below have 4+ star ratings, and seem more manageable in the wash. Given that gauze has a looser weave structure, I recommend washing these products with like items to prevent snags.

Best of Cozy Earth: Loungewear & Bedding

Before I ever tried their bedding, my first piece from Cozy Earth is actually their loungewear (previously rated as one of Oprah’s favorite things). While Parachute has great linen and cotton options, Cozy Earth uses a stretchy, cooling bamboo fabric. I have shamelessly worn their at-home lounge sets to the airport because they are truly that comfy!

See some of my favorite pieces below. I wear a size XS, and this fit has been consistent across the many products I own.

Bedding: I’ve been sleeping in their linen bamboo bedding set for the past two years, with no complaints. Their sheets and duvet cover work all year-round, and I switch my comforter for a lighter one in the summertime. Pictured below is the ‘light grey’ duvet cover and bedsheet set.

Compared to their bamboo sheets, the bamboo/linen combo is a little stiffer and less drapey. However, I prefer the look and texture of this style more.
