When it comes to finding the perfect material for summer, linen is a no-brainer. This fabric is breathable because the weave structure easily allows for air flow. Now that the summer weather is upon us, I knew that the next closet staple I wanted to add is a linen blazer. I wear denim jackets often, but was looking for another lightweight layer that looked less casual. Excited to share about this affordable piece, as well as a few other linen blazers for summer.
HOW I STYLED MY WHITE LINEN BLAZER
The weather was too cold the day I wore it out, so I paired my white linen blazer with a lace-trim cami, ankle jeans, and a pair of block heel sandals. One of my favorite aspects of blazers is how they can make even the most casual outfits look a touch classier.
I ended up choosing this linen-blend blazer because it is pretty affordable, and I wanted something I could wear often without fear of throwing it in the laundry machine. It is currently on sale for under $40, and I love how easy it is to throw onto any outfit. Here are some additional features:
- This blazer is unlined, hence the lower price point.
- It comes with pockets, and a single button closure.
- It is not 100% linen, but rather, a linen/rayon blend. If you’ve read my trench coat guide, rayon makes materials more fluid. This blazer does have a bit of drape, so if you are looking for something more structured, go with one that is 100% linen.
If, however, you are looking for a simple piece to throw on top of your outfit as a light layer, then this blazer works just fine.

LINEN BLAZERS FOR SUMMER OF ALL PRICE POINTS
Linen blazers come in all price points. Budget options are generally a linen-blend because the material is expensive. The main differences come down to price, material quality, and structure. You will notice that the highest quality blazers are pure linen, with more features such as a full lining, multiple buttons, and even padded shoulders. While it was hard spotting 100% linen blazers on the market this season, here are others I found that look good for weekends and work.
*Note: Read the fabric content before buying, and some of these are linen blends (only partial linen).
