Laundry day just got easier with the recent Dirty Labs launch at Whole Foods! If you’ve read my previous blog post about their products (HERE), you know how much I love their detergent. Dirty Labs is a science-backed cleaning brand that uses enzyme technology to tackle the toughest stains. The eco-friendly laundry detergent is also cold water-optimized, non-toxic, and biodegradable. Now, you can shop their products not just online, but at your local Whole Foods market too.
I visited my local Whole Foods market at Bryant Park in NYC, and found Dirty Labs in the cleaning section where other all-purpose cleaners and detergents are located. Remember to check there as opposed to the personal care section which has soap, and body wash. Be sure to also check out Dirty Labs’ website for which participating Whole Foods is closest to you!
If you aren’t able to go in-person, you can use my affiliate link with code ‘SBSCIENCE‘ for 10% off your online order.
If it’s your first time shopping Dirty Labs detergent, you might be unsure which product to buy. Luckily, I’ve purchased a handful of their products and am happy to share my tips! Their detergent comes in 2 simple scent options.
What to Pick: Both detergents are hypoallergenic and safe for sensitive skin. However, the Free & Clear detergent is also dermatologist tested and approved. If you have sensitive skin and want to go with the more prudent option, I recommend Free & Clear. I also use this option to wash kitchen and bathroom linens, where the scent matters less to me. Otherwise, for my clothes (i.e. sweaty workout outfit), Signature is my go-to.
Currently, Whole Foods carries the 8 fl. oz. bottle, which washes 32-loads.
One thing you will notice is that the 32-load bottle is plastic-free. I love that Dirty Labs not only cares about formulating clean ingredients, but is also committed to clean packaging. The bottle and cap are made of recyclable aluminum. Each detergent also comes with a reusable silicone beaker.
Pro Tip: Once you’ve measured out your detergent, toss the beaker straight into the wash for a mess-free experience!
I have always found Dirty Labs to ship their online orders pretty speedily. However, I love that there is now an option to buy their products in stores. If you are new to the brand and want to do some more research before committing, Dirty Labs has a pretty detailed page on the science and ingredients behind their products. You can also read my own review and testimonial HERE, along with a review of their latest Handwash & Delicates detergent HERE.
Keep an eye out during your next grocery run, and be sure to check out the Dirty Labs store locator. If you aren’t able to go in-person, you can use code ‘SBSCIENCE‘ for 10% off your online order. Let me know if you end up giving this eco-friendly laundry detergent a try!
