Affordable Gifts for Her Under $50 that Don’t Look Cheap!

I’ve always believed that the best gifts are not necessarily what’s expensive, but what she will actually use. Looking back on this year, some of my most-used products are under $50. There are so many ways to leave her feeling pampered this holiday, so I’ve divided this blog post into a few categories: fashion, beauty, skincare, and others (e.g. home, jewelry). These products have all been tested and approved by me, and I hope they help you to generate some awesome gift ideas!

Fashion Gifts for Her Under $50

You’ve heard me talk about this brand many times before, but Quince is a great place for affordable basics, including their popular cashmere crew. The fabric is on the thinner side, but compared to brands that I’ve seen charge double, Quince provides comparable quality at more than reasonable price points.

  • Comes in a variety of colors
  • Runs true to size – I order S so I have room to layer underneath

Quince Shearling Slippers: Just under $50 and nearly identical to the Ugg version. These run out of stock pretty quickly, and I find the price hard to believe for the quality. Material is a suede leather upper with 100% Australian shearling lining and insole. I have this pair in grey and they are the coziest slippers I own! If you are between sizes, I recommend sizing up.

Ugg Earmuffs: I don’t love wearing hats in the winter, so earmuffs are normally my go-to for keeping warm. Made with genuine leather and shearling, and comes in several neutral colors.

NEIWAI Barely Zero Bras (Use code ‘STYLEDBYSCIENCE‘ for 20% Off Purchase): During Black Friday, these bras are just under $30. Many of my friends vow that these are their most comfortable bras: clasp-free, wireless, and size-inclusive. I am purchasing one for myself this holiday, since I’ve been convinced by the glowing reviews!

Beauty & Skincare Gifts Under $50

Merit: The perfect minimalistic make-up for those who enjoy a simpler routine. I love that Merit products are easy and quick to apply without a brush, and every first purchase comes with a free signature bag.

  • Bronzer: Creamy and blends easily, no brush required! I own their lightest shade Quince, but could have gone a shade darker since the color is very subtle.
  • Flush Balm (Blush): Positively reviewed by a lot of fellow bloggers, and a product I will be purchasing to try myself!

Olive & June: My go-to for at-home manicures. Nail polishes are 7-free, and come in so many fun seasonal colors. Since using their manicure system (reviewed HERE), I’ve saved so much money going to the salon. If you’re nervous about not having steady hands, you can also purchase their ‘Poppy‘ (an extra handle attachment that makes painting nails easier).

Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask: I use this overnight and as a regular lip balm, and it’s no surprise the product has won so many beauty awards! My lips feel plump and hydrated the next day, and this lip mask comes in many great scents.

Fresh Beauty: One of my most used skincare brands. I love their clean and effective formulation, and minimal fragrance. Both their Lotus and Rose skincare lines are some of my most used products. Sephora carries the Rose Hydration Skincare Set, which is under $50 when on sale. So many great travel-sized samples of their best products in one set!

Thoughtful Gifts for Her Under $50

Outside of beauty and fashion gifts, here are a few other products I love that would make thoughtful gifts too:

  • Kitsch: Brand is female-founded and I love their satin pillowcases! Some gift sets come with an eye mask too. You can also bundle them with their cute hair clips and shampoo bars.
  • Olive & Piper: I love a simple pearl or crystal jewelry piece. Olive & Piper is my go-to brand for simple, elegant, and feminine pieces. You can find a lot of pieces under $50, including their Drew (pearl drop pendant) necklace which I wear often!
  • Vadham Tea: Farm-fresh handpicked teas from India. I received a set for Christmas one year, and loved the beautiful packaging and unique tea flavors. Vadham also supports admirable social causes, with 1% of profits going back to farmers’ education in India.
